Morning habits of successful people that will change your life

The one question that is always asked to many successful entrepreneurs and corporate leaders, is “ what is the secret to your success” and while hard work is often the answer, many people credit their discipline and a compilation of productive morning habits.
So is there any truth to the statement?
Yes indeed!
You do not have to imitate anyone’s morning routine but you have to formulate the perfect one for you, it could be activities that you enjoy doing or habits that help you achieve more during the day.
But what are some morning habits that you can benefit from? Here are some of my favorites.

1. Meditation

If you are someone that wakes up with a lot of anxiety or maybe most of your day is consumed by stress and work, meditation is the perfect solution for you. Now I understand if you call it voodoo, I called it the same until I noticed its effects. I am extremely impressed by meditation and do it throughout the day in small intervals. It eases my stress, nervousness, and racing thoughts, and to be honest even a 5-minute meditation in the morning works wonders on your mental health and well-being.

2. Positive affirmations

The one phrase that is associated with success is ‘ Believe in yourself” but where does this belief come from? the society that we line in thrives from our insecurities and lack of self-esteem. Sadly dreamers hardly have a place in a world full of human machines. So while doubts and fears live in our head rent-free and a good way to overcome them is to say positive affirmations.

So examples of the same would be

1.) I am the architect of my life; I build its foundation and choose its contents.
2.) Today, I am brimming with energy and overflowing with joy.
3.) My body is healthy; my mind is brilliant; my soul is tranquil.
4.) I am superior to negative thoughts and low actions.
5.) I have been given endless talents which I begin to utilize today.

3. Make a TO-DO list

The best way to stay organized is to make a to-do list, so many times I have worked for hours, in the end just to realize that I failed to accomplish the most important task, and all of this chaos can be prevented just by just making a to-do list.

4. Read read read

Imagine you would have stopped studying after grade 3, would you ever pass out highschool? would you ever get into a college?
So how do you expect to succeed and grow in your job if you give up on learning itself?
While being a student we are often forced to study and learn more, the moment the pressure is off our heads we tend to stop reading altogether but the one thing that every successful person has in common is that they never stop learning and you can do it too, either by self-help books or courses significant to your field.

5. Go on a walk

Most successful people’s morning habits include some sort of exercise be it runs, walks or gyms and while you might not have the time to work out an hour a day, a 20 min stroll or workout can also do wonders on your body.
I personally love listening to podcasts and taking a long walk.

6. Have a healthy meal

Research says that if you start your day with a healthy meal you are more likely to keep eating healthy throughout the day too and while many millionaires have personal chefs that cook their delicious meals, maybe you can do some digging around in Pinterest and find some delicious oat pancake recipes!

7. Wake up early

Open to preference; the one thing that you probably know about every successful person is that they wake up early, some as early as 4 am (crazy ik ) but what is the reason behind the same?
Well, one thing that I can personally say is that waking up early does help you get a lot of stuff done throughout the day, by the time people wake up you are already done with most of your tasks and you can wind up early and have a relaxing evening with your friends and family.
But it is open to preference as many people thrive by being night owls and often feel groggy in the morning so might want to give it a try and see how you react to waking up early!

8. Do the most dreadful tasks first

Each day we have that one thing on our TO-do list that absolutely shatters us! maybe you hate responding to emails, try doing the worst task first so that the rest of the day feels easy and productive because not only have you already achieved a task, you now only have the simpler ones at hand.
